    Not gouging. No supply, but huge demand equals higher prices.

    $3.75 (91oct) here in San Diego...on base! I think it's $3.98 out in town. This may just end up being a trip to Abilene seeing as how the power might be out in Houston for the next 1-3 weeks.

    Took the 10 out to get gas....paid $4.32 for 93 octane.....prem is the only grade available in the area.......

    I was going to do my weekly fill up on the Challenger last night, and wound up filling up with 110 octane Turbo Blue... I usually cut it in half with 93, but at 4.35 for the 93 v.s. 4.99 for 110 race gas... I'll take the race gas! (btw Larry, did you make it to the Meadoview for the Muscle car show?)

    No, didnt make the show due to other pressing matters..........BTW...that Turbo Blue is leaded and will destroy your O2 sensors over time.....friend of mine with a 05 Vette put it in and didnt go 5 miles before his car started running rough....CEL came on.....they drained the tank and replaced the O2 sensors and it ran fine......I wish they would replace it with 100 or 105 octane unleaded..

    Where did you buy your Challenger?......................EDIT....I forgot...your Challenger grew up on leaded.....

    I bought the Challenger from a friend in Morristown, He found it in AZ (sold new there)

    Wish you could have made the show, about 90 cars with an estimated average value of 200K each. We had a customers A12 Roadrunner on display. kinda nice not having to travel for this show.

    I have to disagree, the supply is what the station has in it's tank. They paid XXX amount for that tank to be filled. Now that Ike has rolled through that doesn't change that they paid XXX amount for that tank to be filled.

    When crude prices drop, stations don't instantly drop prices at the pump. They are quick on the trigger to rise prices though. Price gouging/fixing.
