great job wade, wanna do my car next? i was just looking at your pics thinking "crap, i havent done that in over a year. this is gonna take forever!"
If you have done this in the past you might try the GLoss-It one-step polish basically it has all of the first 3 steps in one bottle
$400.00 also includes some engine detailing (not a full wash) and minor interior detailing including leather treatment of seats and dash. This job I also did headlight restoration
Nice dude. Good for you. And all from the comfort of your own home, too. Well done Wade. What polisher is that you use? And where do you get it? I'm about to buy the cyclo. What's your recommendation?
I use the FLEX DA machine but the Cyclo is awesome plus Gloss-It sells and carries their own line of pads for the Cyclo that simply rock. Rich the owner of Gloss-It just came out with his own line of pads and I used them for the first time on the G35 and it really impressed me. The only benefit of having the FLEX is that it has a variable speed option but it is VERY noisy and VERY torquey and hard to hold onto even for me. I have to wear earplugs while using it which is not comfy
I've only used Zaino and Gloss-It is much better. I do use Menzerna sometimes they have a good cutting polish which BMW uses in the assembly line when needed.
Why do people wash their cars with Ajax? I don't know what drives detailers. My arms won't go past 5 hours. I guess I need to do more 12 ounce curls. Super job on those swirls. Les
