Seems like you'll be keeping the car for some time then if you want to go 10's with not much reasonable out there for mods...may 8 owners know how you feel when they first started out. I haven't had my car for a year yet and everything on it has been tried again and again....although the Diablo tuner is relatively new, I'm confident now that I am running safely A/F ratio wise.

Bah. They won't ever because there would never be an SRT-6 Sebring. Which is what the Avenger is and what it has been for well over a decade. I was so disappointed that they went with the Sebring platform for the new Avenger. That poor woefully underpowered car.

First, that doesn't make any grammatical sense. Secondly, no one said that they had previously been a "joke", ergo, they cannot still be a "joke".

Goatse, you are so full of fail it's sad. Like kicked-puppy sad.

The 6 is not a beverage friendly vehicle? Not mine! As long as I have a lid on, my cup holder ROCKS!

I'd rather not bring food/drink into the 6 regardless, but sometimes it works...more often it doesn't. If I do have a drink there I have to be like...psychic-aware of it so it doesn't tip over, not to mention trying to get a cup in it with one hand.

My king-size coke from BK does look pretty hilarious in that thing. :bang:

    SRT6 orphans

Lot of issues with our SRT 6 heritage
Our parent were in love, had a merger of equals, then one said we're not
equal I OWN you. Then it was hallway sex, then they split up, then neither of them wanted the kids. Then our half brothers<> Mercedes kids dissed us, saying you're not a Mercedes. We were abandoned on the docks, shipped to DC dealers with too much baggage (MSRP)
but finally we found foster homes. Now we just hope for good health cuz we have no support system to fall back on. My check tire light has been on for a year and no one can fix it. But with nothing to lose, we are gonna raise hell until the wheels fall off.
    Rant done

 couldn't have said it better myself!

And the check tire light...isn't that just the tire pressure sensor? If it is, it means the air in a tire(s) is low.
edit: the tire pressure sensor symbol looks kind of like this:
although...it should be in the owners manual too...why can't anyone "fix" it? If it's just low air pressure, putting more air in should turn it off. If that doesn't do anything it might be some defect and I'd recommend taking it to a dealer.

In my case wifey curb rashed 2 wheels, so I bought 4 wheels and put the winter tires on the worst wheels saving the best for summer show trim. Now no matter the season there are always different TPM stems on the car. The CF takes a special attachment for the starscan just to recognize new TPM signals on the car. Even the Chrysler tech training center here in town doesn't have one. The lead instructor has the same light on his dash that he can't cancel. My SRT 8 will learn a new stem signal all on it's own in less than a mile.
    BTW
Nice looking Dak in the sig pic, tell us about it.

Awesome truck. Amazing mileage! You must not do much "daily driving"!!

My daily driver is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9. It has 200K. :)
