Finally Picking up my Jeep from Vortech Saturday at 9:00am

I can tell you that they dyno it and the #s are 289hp and 325tq baseline.They only dyno the rear tires.Chris told me that i would be happy withe the new #s with the s/c.

Ive been so busy with work that im freaking tired.But yes im exsited.What do you guys think of the #s.

 

What was your #s.Baseline and s/c install.

 

Havent been to the dyno yet, but hopefully will soon for #'s then a CMR tune!!

 

Damn chris woundnt give me the #s with the s/c install.But i heard that some off the lx guys are not to happy.Im glad your happy with yours,everyone should know that vortech is very,very tight with thier tune.

 

This is very true, there is alot more to be had, but teh V tune is very safe.

Your base #'s don't seem right, but it's probably just dyno specific.

 

A bit low on the stock numbers. My car on that dyno with just exhaust was 326.

 

Vortek uses a Mustang Dyno, which explains the lower numbers.

He has a Jeep, Their numbers do not match the LX numbers.

 

Ha ha, right the Jeep #'s are much higher! jk :grin:
I know they are lower on an awd dyno, but if it's just a rear wheel dyno the Jeep shouldn't be to far off?

 

Yes...so was ours. Just courious why so much lower for a baseline. It should be somewhat closer to ours with only two wheel...right?

 

Still has to spin the gears in the transfer case. That dyno is way low though. Mine and many others have made over 360 stock.

 

remember mustang dyno...i spun over 360 stock on a dynojet and only 326 on this specific dyno.
