Taxes are here and I've got only two things to do! Mods first! Bills second! Ok, so I got the diablo and put it in and now for the exhaust. I want to try a magnaflow exhaust but I'm debating on where to put the mufflers. I've been trying to narrow it down to putting one muffler in the middle where the big resonator is or putting two at the tips. The guy I was talking to said putting it in the middle will drone inside since its right below the seats and the two at the tip will sound better.

Any thoughts from people who have done it?

i replaced the middle "suitcase" muffler with a coupler of magnaflow wide open mufflers and removed the resonators....was ok, but rather loud when i was on it. i then gutted my cats and almost went nuts with all the drone!!! ended up putting in some resonators at the tips to try and quiet things down, but it is still rather loud!!! lol

Mike, what your guy says makes sense...I have catless mids, stock muffler in the center and Blastin Bobs 9db reso delete, 4" tips out the rear...depth of sound and volume is great, but drone @ 2000-2200 RPM is HORRIBLE....I will change one day, just not a priority right now, it's not my DD.

Thanks Kyle, thats what I found looking through some other web sites too. I think I might just do to the two magna flows on the end.

exhaust is in and it sounds great! Turned out better then expected and the guy gave me a smokin deal! He also checked the x-pipe and it is real but he said it looks like somebody opened it up and welded it back together after it was sold. Definite seat of the pants improvement. Can't wait to get it on the freeway
