    new bolts come with the 3in O2 and DP anyway :D

    Hmmm, might as well upgrade to a 3" o2 housing if the stock one isn't repairable. If you have to take it off to repair it then you might as well just upgrade to a 3" o2 housing.

    Exactly, knowing how much a PITA they are.

    Not a good idea to get rid of the lower heatshield. It will put more wear and tear on the rubber coolant lines behind there thus needing to replace them more often.

    Just my 2 cents.

    my lines are fine and i have 100k on the clock with lots of track time.

    Tell me about it haha. I have bought (2) 3" O2 housings since I've own my car and sold both everytime because I didn't want to deal with the PITA install haha.
