Some women are just not as exciting as you Tam..

It is kind of funny to see her. If you saw her w/o the Viper you would not believe that she could drive one much less own one....she is probably 100LBs over weight and has never been married but is a very nice lady...

I worked with a nice white-haired lady who generally kept to herself around the office. To look at her, you wouldn't suspect she barrelled around in a late model impala with the police package and blacked out windows. Her last name said it all though, "Speed!"

Had one on the rollers the other day.
Lingenfelter heads/cam package made 598 RWHP.
Sounded oh so sweet as it went past 7000 rpm.

After the stock one, I couldn't imagine what that one would be like to drive Bob.

A low RPM mash in 3rd gear would flame the tires! :)

Jon, your car should do this as well....mine does :thongue2:

C6 Z06's aren't what i would call common...i see about 5 a year, and black is very rare indeed...I've seen one. :stars: THAT is a bad ass car, if you think otherwise, see a doctor.

My car does do the tire shred, but the Z06 was diffferent...it felt effortless and easy. The interior was ok, but room for improvement IMHO.

No doubt that the car is almost top-of-the-line, behind the ZR-1.

I've loved Corvettes for years. I was very close to buying a used Z06. I ended up renting a regular corvette from Hertz for 2 days to make sure I could live with one. Well I couldn't. Hated the driving position. That coupled with the amount of hood out in front of me made it very cumbersome. The car handles well enough but really gives no warning of when it's letting go. In the end the Z06 didn't offer anymore straightline performance than my ProCharged 300. You give up a lot of comfort, compliant ride and security (feeling). I see a hell of lot more Corvettes Z06 than I do SRT8's and you ain't sneakin' up on anybody in a Z06.

The first ZR1 I saw was wheels up on the 101 frwy last year. No other cars around. Not sure how he flipped it, went sideways and dug into the shoulder would be my guess... Thought it was a reg C6 or Z06, til I was RIGHT next to it and saw the tiny ZR1 badge on the back. By then it was too late to grab the camera LOL...

she has impeccable taste! and for the record, I own a yellow corvette racing hat with Jake on it that I purchased in Bowling Green, I wear it during the 24 hrs of LeMans to cheer on Ron Fellows against the pasta pistols and tea totalers and schnitzel sleds. They outlawed Viper's displacement - kid too big to play in sandbox - so they kicked them out of the box. I think technically they could still make it work, but they'd have to get rid of at least the .4l and maybe a little more?

Drove one last month at Autobahn Country Club
Pulls harder than my SC Bee and effertless in the turns.
I'm going to buy one in the future for the track and keep the Bee for Sundays.
