Evening, well I was on the woodward cruise on the weekend, and not wanting to disapoint the kids in the back or the blokes on the side of the road yelling burn them, i thought I d have a go. Pushed the ESP button - nothing - pushed again - nothing, held for the 10 secs for sull (70%) deactivation and I got the chime and message in the cluster but still no light. I have a starscan and set the cluster lamps on - the ESP and TCS lamps work - maybe a bad button? Any ideas?
I would not rule out a bad button, but because it initiated the Chime, it sounds as though it is functional. I would take it into the Dealer and have them diagnose the issue. Could be programming?
