I was trying to cut a pice of driftwood down for my tank and my hatchet skipped off of the wood and landed in my big toe!

After 15 minuets on the garage floor with a car rag trying to get the bleeding to stop i decided it was time for a doctor. well my dad can no longer drive so i got kevan on the phone. he was at my house in 7 minuets (15-20 minuet drive) and we were off!

i am so bummed i spent the rest of my day off work in the ER and i still dont have wood in my tank.

Sorry to hear that. Doesn't look too bad since it still appears to be about the right length. And good thing it wasn't your thumb! Kevan would only be able to get a One Thumbs Up certification on future projects! :thumb::grin:. Hope it doesn't hurt too bad.

    That looks painfull.

    Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Did you lose any part of the big toe (now it's really a big toe).

Just amazing how one minute you are fine, the next to the hospital.

No nothing missing it was a clean cut but it was to the bone.

I have a 180 gallon fresh water fish tank.
