Engine Coolant Temp Sensor Low? Also when i drive with the light on, it sometimes fluctuates the temp guage. Like it will shoot all the way down and then back to norm operating temp or vice versa. Is my 180degree tstat going or what? Who sells this sensor other then a dealership
Easy way to tell if your tstat is shot is get the car warm and feel the hoses going to the radiator. If one is hot and one is cold you tstat is stuck closed. If they are both cold then its probably stuck open. Also I am speaking in relative terms when I say hot and cold. It could just be the sensor that is going bad too.
You could try Napa for the sensor, if that's what you need...I know that is where I go for plugs, 'cause they are the only local place I have found that stocks plugs for the SRT4.
thanks man...i will check that out. yeah napa will have the tstat too. So if need be i'll just replace both. Part number 153 according to Forward Motion
