3M 33 does a great job as long as the end of it is not contaminated when you wrap it. If it has any dirt/grease/jism, whatever, it'll unwravel.

HA!, you want the ultiment level of protection that will NEVER come off.

It'd be like taking a swim in liquid silicon before a night on the town in Saigon. :mains:

3M C130 rubber tape and than a layer of 33 and it'll never come off ever, never, ever!. :thongue2: :D

Some details on the application might help.
Is it going to wrap around something and then over itself?
    Flat strip?
    Interior?
    Exterior enclosed (like engine bay)?
Exterior (like taping something under the car)?
    Wind, rain, sun, heat exposure?
    Thickness matter?

It's ok, you're among friends, you can tell us, we won't laugh at you.

Like was previously stated...I've used 3m 33 plenty of times, and it hasn't let me down yet. You just gotta make sure not to contaminate the end too much.
