I'm starting to feel ripped off being single with no kids. :viking: I'm lucky my boss don't have much problem with just taking the day off because there's too much tread on my rear tires. 15th look good as long as they don't reschedule the California race for that day.
Chris, Don't worry I can't wait for Jason to use that excuse OVER, OVER, OVER and OVER!!!!!!!! He is going to use all his Sick Leave in the first year!!!!!!!
Jason, As a friend and fellow coworker let me prepare you for what is to come! First and foremost their is nothing that is "OURS" except for the child itself during this eye opening process you are about to take!!!! Make sure you wear a DOT certified helmet, Federally Certified BITE SLEVES, your RIOT gear, Steel Toed boots, bring 2 (TWO) extra changes of clothing, 4 (FOUR) extra pairs of underwear, your smiley face, an extra large bottle of HAPPINESS and UNDERSTANDING and most importantly remember this saying, "WHATEVER YOU WOULD LIKE HUNNY/MY LOVE/DARLING" you pick which one works best for the occassion. I have a new found respect not only for my wife, but all women after seeing the birth of both my children. The most amazing thing was seeing my childs head crown and thinking wow he has a small melon, then BADABINGBADABOOOOOOOOOM this 20lbs looking bowling ball comes out. After that I was great I'm going to be like a HOTDOG in a hallway. Oh, well I have two great kids and can't imagine life without them. MOMO may GOD bless you, your wife and your little one to be. GOD, please make sure the little fart looks like his mother and nothing like his real father.
Dam it Adam... Hate on it?!?! Its a Mopar, right?!?! And, you should show. I may HAVE to use it, but at least I don't get into work at 1030 hours everyday because 'my kid's gotta get to preschool'... well, at least I'm not using that excuse YET!
Read you lima charlie. I've soiled myself twice in the last week thinking of what's to come... and the hotdog in a hallway analogy makes this all the worse! And if the kid does look like his real father... well, anyone ever see a Doberman-Boy?!?!
Well, I can't make the 15th. It's my sons birthday party (his b-day is x-mas) so I will be pre-occupied. I'll make the next one. *edit* I might stop by around noontime, before my sons party, to say hi.
This is just too funny! And right on the money! My 2 cents having 2 kids of my own would be REALLY learning the phrase, "Yes dear" as well as realizing you will not have a life for the next 6 months. Sorry, but it's true. Saying "Yes, dear" and doing everything she wants will be your life for ... actually then on. Lol!! Trying to do or say anything you want will result in the "excuse me but YOU DIDN'T JUST PASS A BOWLING BALL OUT YOUR A$$ SO YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I JUST WENT THROUGH HAVING YOUR BABY!!!!" comment so you will do as she says, lol! BTW Jason, again bro, congrats! I would LOVE to go and meet you guys for the first time and drive my car all day only I'm up in SJ, Chula Vista's what, 6 hours down there right? Dang. Anyone ever plan one of these up here in the Bay Area??
I might be able to make it but will probably be late. Jenny is working some OT that morning and usually doesnt get home till 2ish. If she can get out early we will run down.
John, this is a 'boys only club'... that's how WE roll down here in the CV! *flashes a "C" and "V" gang sign w/hands* Heck dude, if its OT... and unless you work for the GOV, then its likely optional!
Oh I thought it was a group type thing. If its just the boys Ill probably head out and then just take off when she normally gets out. Yeah her OT is optional but they are so backed up that shes been doing at least 15-20 hours extra a week for the last 5 months and shes addicted to the $$$
"...she's addicted to the $$$." Like we're not to the mods, well Jason isn't, but the rest of us. You know what I mean.
We'll have to meet somewhere three hours North of here sometime! Hopefully before next X-MAS!!!!!!!!!
We have HUGE meets in LA all the time that most of the Chula Vista crew can't seem to make it to (Cruisin' for a Cure, Spring Festival, etc.). I have my doubts they'd be willing to go another hour and a half north. I wouldn't hold your breath Cheatek. Heck, its taken us a year to get together for a Saturday afternoon in our own backyard...
