Finally received and installed the Mondello Generation ll "Wet Flowed Heads". Myself and my buds couldnt take our eyes off the reworked combustion chambers. They are a work of art! I redata logged and promptly sent the results off to Bob at SVS. He let me know the tune had now significantly changed. I went with a second preliminary tune because time was running out and my appointment on the Intergrated Performance DTS AWD dyno was scheduled for this morning at the same time as last weeks baseline run.

Judge for yourself by reviewing the attached dyno sheets. Quite an improvement for just changing the combustion chamber and reshaping the valve seat.

Like I stated in a previous thread, the DTS doesnt throw the big numbers a Dyno jet provides. This dyno really loads the engine down and you can hear it strain against the preloaded parameters.

There is no doubt when Bob receives the data logs from the dyno and subsequent run back home, the HP/TQ will rise, but for now, having the first and only N/A Jeep clicking 503hp/482tq with a 20% drive train loss is nothing to be ashamed of..LOL!! I guess old Joe Mondello know what he is doing!!

The test was with conducted with 91 octane unleaded fuel at 188-190 degrees coolant temp.

The difference is I had him apply the "wetflow" process to them. The combustion chamber has now been changed substantially.

No sir. The previous configuration were a dry flow. The new wet flow were a recent undertaking between myself and Mondello's. The combustion chamber is completly reworked and there is some change to the port work. With the wet flow any other competitors head can be wet flowed.....and yes this is a new port and chamber compared to what was sold previously.

Did it increase the price of the heads?
