The DCR Hot Rod runs off stright Meth, so we had to wear the gas mask so we could breath and see.

 

What fun is that? haha

Were my eyes playing tricks, or was the dyno graph showing and instant power/torque line up at the top of the page?

 

So...what'd it do? I couldn't see any thing on the dyno screen...:dunno2:

So what ET and MPH are you anticipatiing?

 

Well we went and tested the car on sunday. We went to a local 1/8 mile track and we went 6.23 @ 113mph inthe 1/8 with no nitrous and a fat tune. We are going to do some more testing darrell says it should be able to run 5.20 @ 150mph in the 1/8th and around an 8.30-820 in the 1/4 @ 175+mph. This is what we are shooting for.

Hey Guys Check This Out!!!!

Here is the first run we made at pinks all out. This pass was on low boost using onlt 2 gears and letting out after the 1/8th mile.

We were picked as one of the 3 top cars. So we made the tv show for sure. Also we made popular hot rod mag. They are doing a photo shoot of the car and we got the srtconnection decal on the car. So srtconnection will be on tv and in popular hot rod mag. Just wanted to let everyone know that.

Just to give an update on this car. We are going back to the single big turbo setup that we used when we ran the NHRA Hot Rod Class. Our new goal is to break our record of 7.90@188mph in the 1/4.
