So after 3 years of ownership, lots of research and deal shopping I finally gathered all my parts for phase 2...

FRI Tomahawk, Inertia Performance Heads, JBA Long tubes and catted mids, Powerbond U/D Pully and CMR tune by Brent.

Can't wait to pick it up when I get back from vacation!

Thanks Jim. I'll be posting some charts when I get her back, soon to be followed up with a trip to the track for the real #'s I was running 13.3x at VMP in the middle of the summer last year in full street trim.... Should be able to improve on that!

No. You need some mid pipes designed to use with long tubes. JBA makes those as well, I do not have the part # handy but I got mine through Maryland Speed. Best price I could find.

Well time for a little update. Unfortunatly the install has been delayed. Had a little issue with the heads being delivered in time to have it completed last week. DTP has their hands full this week with another build (something about a forged 370 w/ more boost. lol). Looks like the heads will be here Friday and it will be around the 14th before they can get back to it. I will be in Yorktown doing an Ammo off-load from the 13th through the 17th, so I will not be able to get my hands on it until the 18th. Oh well, it is what it is. I just feel like an ass for doing this to the guys at DTP. They have been great!

Well finally got everything setteled out and buttoned up.

This all started by me looking into getting a ported manifold here, http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=215859 after many PMs being exchanged with several vendors and members here I decided to see if I could put a Heads and Cam combo together on the cheap (lol I know ) . I found a gently used FRI Tomahawk for a good price and got an awesome deal from Stu on a set of his Performance heads. At that point I should have stayed off the "For sale" part of the forum but I am not that smart. Then I ran across a smoking deal on a set of JBA Long tubes, well that ment I would need new mid tubes so off shopping for those I went. Found the best price I could on those (still way more than I think they should be).

On a side note the JBA Catted mids for long tubes are not direct fit. They only had 1 bung on the passenger side for O2 and needed to be "Massaged" by an exhaust shop to properly fit.

After doing that all (while being deployed on a ship) when I got home it was time to get it all installed and tuned. I knew I wanted Brent at DTP in Virginia beach to tune it no "if's or and's" about it and after shoping around for the install I decided to have them do that as well (keep it all under 1 roof).

So... I talked to Stu to set up the delivery of the Heads, loaded everything into the back of the Magnum, droped it off at DTP and off on vacation to Nc with the family I went.

As we all know a plan is just a known point of deviation. After working through some delays and other issues...

    Flash forward to today!

A big thanks to the guys at DTP for being patient with me and getting everything done correctly, everyone who encouraged me through some of the "WTF now" moments and this forum and everyone here for the invaluble information and advice.

This car is awesome!!! Drives like stock but with a heck of a lot more "Smiles per hour". Cant wait to get up to VMP to see what she will do now. Depending on how this week finishes out at work I am going to try to make it up there this Friday.

Here are a few other pictures I took.

450rwhp and 450rwtq...very nice numbers. Cam has a slight amount of "lope" to it...sounds great. Glad everything finally came together. Now, it's time for a ported intake/TB.

Yes they are. Thanks to you, Brent and Sean for being so patient with me.

Hmmm.... Not a bad Idea! i bet you have just the right one in mind. I think I may go with a new Tourque Converter next. We will see, it is going to take the "Mod fund" a little while to grow back after this though.
