My wife and I went to Road Atlanta this weekend to watch the SVRA race... but the highlight of my weekend was a little track time!
Man!!! I wanna drive Road Atlanta!! along with Laguna Seca, and vegas but all we got out here is Sandia Motorsports park Our track is fun but not well maintained. the whole track needs to be repaved. theres pot holes and edges missing. but over all its still fun. every time i go i know the track will eat a full set of tires.
Heh, wife rode with me on Friday... IN THE RAIN! Granted I was running ALOT slower. She opted to Sit in the stands and make pictures on Saturday. Still not running wide open, but I'll take any opportunity to get on the track even if I have to walk it!
I hear that! That's cool you were on the track twice (2 days). I want to do it one day but it would be convincing my wife. If I got an opportunity I would jump all over it.
any track time you can get is time well spent. and im trying to get my wife to autocross tomarrow. she'll defetnely go to watch but i want her to take more corners in her Cruiser. its pretty cool watching this thing go though cones!!!
