Had to do it went to the local 1/8 to see what this beast will do, well how about a great smoke show and going side-way all the way. best I could muster up was 60' 1.35, trap speed 73.5, ET 9.339. with lots of spinning.
Has any one used the stock spare wheel and a set Nitto 275/40-20?

    Thanks
    Adam

The new option that might work are the 20" Nitto 05 drag radials. The older 555's are junk, but I've been hearing good things about the 05s.

Adam, I am assuming madman is talking about his SRT10, since it is posted in the SRT10 discussion forum? lol That and the use of the spare tire is another dead give away.

Madman, you sure about that 60' time? 1.35 would be considered outstanding.

Wish I could help on the DR question for the 10... Maybe Larry (TNViper) could answer?

Yeah..your 60' must be a misprint...the best 60' with full race slicks is 1.5X...you probably meant a 2.35..........the 20" Nitto will not help you..too small...you might as well use a street tire....the tire you want is The M&H 390/40/17...link below..

Does not require shaving the calibers. A few are using 16" Hooser slicks but you have to shave the calibers...

I just happen to have 2 sets of the M&H if you are interested in one of them....still have about 30+ runs down the track in them..

Not sure, thought the same thing but that is what the slip states. my other slips were 2.2, 2.3 and the et's were a joke, all smoke.

Just looking for a low cost wheel tire combo, on a budget, since my charger is the track car and boss told me "your broke". Just wished i could use the same set up, but different bolt pattern.
I see that Pacer alloy makes a Ridgeline 17x10, 25mm offset for 148.00.

Does anyone use line locks on the SRT10?
