I now have 6 more sets of rear coilovers for the ultimate in racing performance.

AFCO Racing builds six sets at a time and ships them to me. The first 6 pairs sold out in one week.

You can see details on the racing suspension at www.streetracetech.com

Please PM, or call me directly for any orders. I will help pick specific springs rates for you depending on your intended uses and the horspower level of your car.

This is the rear suspension that helped me recently make the quickest run in LX history, becoming the first LX in the 10's, and retaining the record at 10.893 seconds.

Here's the video of the record run: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shL_CaPtko4

Weight transfer was so impressive, spectators had the initial illusion that I had picked a front tire off the ground. (No - it didn't really pick up).

    Here's the record run:

And my 2nd run of the day, which hooked up even better, but had transmision problems after the first 330'.

    So does the suspension work?

Before the coilovers, my best 60' time was 1.95 seconds.
Sounds slow - but I come off the line at stock horspower until the nitrous kicks in.
On the 16th of March I ran for the first time on the AFCO Racing coilover suspension. On that day I set a new LX record of 11.17 seconds, and had a personal best 60' time of 1.736 seconds.

AFCO Racing analyzed video and audio of my run, and made some further suggestions to dial in my suspension. As a result, my 60' times dropped to 1.637 seconds.

And I still come off the line with virtually stock horsepower for the first 20 feet until the nitrous hits.

How did that compare with other cars at the same track that day?
426Jack, one of the first streetracetech customers, who has chronically faced poor traction issues, ran a 1.62 second 60' on his way to becoming the 2nd quickest normally aspirated LX ever.

PPP, who has run 60' times in the 1.5x range, was several tenths slower. Other SRT-8's were running in the mid 13's because the track was so slippery because it was too cold. I saw 2.2 second 60' runs from stock SRT-8's struggling to find any traction.

Bottom line: Adding the coilovers shaved a 10th off my 60' time instantly. Getting them dialed in helped me set a record.

Oh - and they're great looking too!
