i have some cool info on the 6.1L hemi drag pack special power is 630 hp compression ratio is 14 to 1 do you want to know more?:usflag:
heads are ported (i would say they cant be ported any futher) havent got into the bottom end yet but the valvetrain is stock rockers rpm limit is 8,000 rpms (wow) waiting to get cam specs and see what is in the bottom end more to come
ok found out that the crank is a stock crank have not found out about the rods yet i do know the pistons are forged domes look like mountains have not veryfied this yet but lobe lift on cam is around 590 dont know duration still waiting on spec sheet for cam
lol 1) Ron always has the next motor lined up so he's ready to go when he needs one. or 2) Sizing up the competition
hey guys a little update ok like i said crank is stock rods are stock pistons are diamond forged dome pistons (cool looking)nopics they asked me not to post pick yet heads are stock casting 6.1 heads (also same heads on 5.7 drag engine noo combustion chamber work has been done but port work has been done valves are 2.100 intake and 1.600 exhaust. springs are the behive look stock rockers are stock push rods i think are hardened.(havent verrified yet)
Wow I'm surprised the valvetrain is basically stock. That really shows how durable they are under extreme use.
Amen to that, but it doesn't surprise me as I have yet to see anyone post up about any serious issues with the stock valvetrain/oil system which so far have been in the 7000-7500 rpm range. Chris
