See if there is any way to order the bolts from your dealer without having to pay for them first. Then when they come in "now you can tell me the size" :)

You know, as much as i've done biz with them, they should have apologized and rescheduled for me to come in to take care of it, plus fix the fluid level...also forgot to mention the bracket nut for the starter was started on the threads, but never tightened. They charged me $650.00 for the bushing install and tranny service....ROBBERY, even if they did it right!

I ALWAYS double check other peoples work, especially the dip shit dealers. It's amazing to me how these guys can sleep at night with the lack of care they put into their work.

As usual, DIY and KNOW it's right...God, i wish i had a lift.

I'll drain some fluid this morning and get it correct. One thing I have noticed, is the down shifts when coming to a stop are harder, and it's doesn't seem to want to kick down 2 gears when i go to WOT while cruising, just one, i'm assuming because of the extra fluid.

I guess i'll just order the missing bolts from another dealer....i'm done with this one.

same thread used on 3/4 of the motor Kyle. The valve covers, intake, oil pan,and throttle body all use the same thread.......the 25mm length is easy......25mm=1 inch.....same as the oil pan bolts.

we are talking about two different bolts then...I mean the 2 that go through the oil pan and thread into the bell housing, they are pretty big...mine were black in color, 18mm socket head and about 2.5" in length.

    oh crap......they lost those?
WTF? Those are the first bolts to go in when you put the trans in or swap the motor.....they guide the bell housing onto the dowels! Morons.

Thats a 7/16 x16x2.5 I believe.(Yeah,I know, not metric)........the rest of the bell housing to block up top is 3/8x16....not sure about the lower 4......they are metric I think.

Those were my exact words, that I installed them first when lining up the dowels...I knew they were in there.
Anyway, I ordered them from another dealer. Best, to be sure they are right.
    Thanks anyway Erik.

New issue...Updated my Predator to latest CROM (9r21) and followed instructions to the T...all went well when I installed Johan's 2nd version as is...if I modify it, it wont install...It gives me "error validating file"...If i reset all parameters, it will install and the car runs...but it isn't what I want. Any ideas???

    I emailed Johan also.

Me and Johan have been going back and forth all day in emails...same result. Just before it uploads, it says "error validating file". He has no idea why at this point. I hate electronics!

At this point, i have no idea what the fuck to do...Any suggestions?

Well this didn't work either...it gave me "This feature not available for cal id 05030232ae".
Mike and Johan said I would need to go to dealer and have them flash a new calibration I.D. #05030232af, then go from there.
Made an appointment for tomorrow morning 7:30 a.m.

All i can do is shake my head in disgust...Question is, will the car even run with a stock tune in it? Dealer is only 5 miles away, and I won't be doing any WOT runs or anything, but I just want to be able to get it back to where I can work on it. (from a computer)
Another question is, then what? Will my injectors have to be scaled again, am I starting over from scratch?

Something that just pisses me off is, I have spent around 1500.00 so far on tuning for this car, unbelievable.

Got the AF calibration, plus updated every thing else that was available, sent the back up to Johan, he worked his magic, and I just uploaded the new tune. All went as planned, no hic-cups of any kind.
Unable to test things now because it's SNEAUXING down in the bayou...
(not like yall give a shit, i been talking to myself on this thread for a week now...)

Right on Dook! I know how I would have felt as I was hitting the "start" or "upload" buttons on my Predator...lol.

I don't even like to upload my original tune even briefly because I am paranoid things will screw up.

(I keep trying to look in the left side of my computer screen every time I see your avatar)
