Many SRT-10 owners have either lost or never received the Wing Relocation Instructions that came with the re-lo kit for their trucks.

Attached to this post is a scan of the Wing Relocation Instructions.
You will also find the part numbers on there.

For us non-SRT-10 guys (me). Where was the wing before?

The wing is located just above the top edge of the tailgate on the SRT-10 trucks.

Why would one need to re-locate it though?
(or is it still like the 70's when my Dad's drunken buddies used to sit on/hang off the Superbird Wing and bend it all up?).

That's what I've seen... but where is it being relocated too? or was it somewhere else before?

I guess I should have looked at them closer at the get together.

So you can put your quad in the back of the truck, then use the tailgate as a ramp after you yell "Hey Y'all! Watch this!".
I mean, why bust the stereotype?

It gets relocated to the front of the bed, just behind the rear window.

Isn't this strictly a RC thing?

I don't believe these instructions apply to us QC peeps...

AFAIK, all 1st Gen. wing (2 mounting points) are re-locatable; RC or QC.

Those SRT-10s with the OEM tonneau cover or the 2nd Gen. wing (3 mounting points), are not re-locatable.

The QC and the 2nd Gen. wing both came out in 2005, so there's a little overlap there.
The tonneau allowance from DCX also confuses things a little.

    Here's the pouch:
(I did the cute little bow just for you, Scott!)

    Here are the contents:

    (1) Instruction Sheet
    (4) Wing Attachment Bolts (10mm head)
    (2) Brackets

Though the instructions say "use the included tool", my kit did not come with one.

The only part number I could find that was remotely close was:
    05029846AA........TOOL, nut driver
I'll double-check that number with Patrick at Avondale and drop in here with more info.

When I bought my truck the dealer had the wing in the forward location. I told them to move it before I will buy it.

It was the first thing I tried, but looked terrible.......... Beside the instructions you have pictured, I also have, included in my pouch, an instruction sheet on wing removal, as well, the tool is a yellow handled spin-tight. (made in the USA). Actually, the wing relocation was one of the main reasons I bought this truck. I originally thought I would be putting things in the bed, and using it like a real truck:oops:

My 05 came with the brackets to relocate the wing to the front bed rail...JMB Justin had his relocated up front at the VTCOA panama city GTG and may have fabricated his own brackets...
