Wow, I'm surprised to see this considering there are several other devices out there that are monitor/tuning devices similar to this (none with graphics as slick as ours) that cost in excess of $1000, and they have been selling like hotcakes in the diesel markets. $799 is actually real cheap compared to whats out there currently. We will be releasing a Predator replacement (inTune, touch screen, full color, external inputs) sometime in the 1st 1/4 of 09 that should retail around $450.
And on that note...I have been hearing the word 'Caliber' thrown around here quite a bit lately, I think the plan is to have it in Trinity for its release. Keep your fingers crossed.
I think it is a very reasonable price for what it does. It kills two birds with one stone. It is a pain in the ass having both the Dashhawk and the Predator because you can't have them plugged in at the same time. I definitely will be trading up when the time comes.
The 450 i can live with. As far as the 1000 dollar deisel shit goes i could care less.....our cars aint deisel. Like i said earlier, i like diablo and they would be my first choice. Not trying to piss you off, but 800 bucks aint cheap to me.
$800 isn't cheap to most of us. But for the Trinity, I think it is a great price. A Dashhawk is $300, Predator $375, plus $40 bucks for the cables and power supply. Right there is $715 for tuning and engine monitoring. And from what I have seen, the Trinity display blows away the Dashhawk display. You get monitoring and tuning all in one nice, compact unit. It's a winner in my book.
for what the trinity offers, 800 is standard. im sure they make a bit on the sale but its still standard for the market price wise. its prob 10x better than anything else out there but the pricing stands.
Have the people questioning the price actually read up on the Trinity tool. Its a hell of a lot of tool for the money and more. Scan gauge, diagnostics tool, 1/4 mile, hp, torque reading etc etc etc. How many people have a predator and a dashhawk (or similar). Add those 2 up and guess what. Not only are the prices very similar, you can only use one at a time. This does the lot PLUS does everythng the Predator handheld does (and more). Plus who doesn't like new gadgets and toys. I can'ty wait. Mike Mike & Johan, these bloody well better work on Australian cars....
You're not allowed to say anything, you didn't have to pay for your Predator!! Of course it will.....we haven't left you down under guys out in the cold yet!!

damn...i was about to order the predator for my car...and now there will be an update...hmmm, any deals if we are existing customers haha the trinity sounds sick and looks sick, but $800, idk, i'd have to save up for awhile lol, i'll wait till it comes out to see how well it does

I hear you are very close to some very expanded TCM programming. Will that be upgradable to the Predator we now have, or will it be restricted to the upcoming new Preadtor and/or Trinity?
