DCR @ Import Face Off in Gainesville, FL w/Red Sled

Finally got to see the Red Sled in person and man was it great!!!

Got to put names with faces as well. DCR and crew are a great group of people. I spoke directly with Nubs and got so much information from him and the latest at DCR. Makes me wish they were closer to home, I'd be there all the time!

Of course I couldn't leave there without something from DCR, they gave away packets with DCR stickers and their latest brochure/catalog which I got as well as purchased a Red Sled T-shirt .

Unto the Red Sled,
I was able to catch (2) runs, one was a qualifying run in which it ran a 9.5 @ 154 and the other was a competition run in which the Red Sled ran a 9.3 @ 158.

Unfortunately on its 2nd competition pass one of the Map Sensor blew because of being on the two step too long and building too much pressure. The driver in the other lane took too long to stage/setup.

I mentioned it to Nubs while I was there. He told me between him and Jennifer they have been so busy with orders/customers that they just haven't had time.

 

Was there to see the sled as well...was awesome to actually see it perform in person!

 

Now that we are back in the shop, we are getting the "Red Sled" ready to come back to FL on Feb 21st and 22nd for the next IFO at West Palm Beach. We will be there to race the "Red Sled" and help out any of you srt4 guys. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Wow...I think I'm gonna have to mosey on up to Commerce to see this thing IRL...assuming it will be at the Commerce Import Faceoff.
