Sets the cams to true centerline eliminating all of the guess work and time consuming cam degreeing.

It puts the cams where they are meant to be by the cam master premachined dowel holes located on all cams between #1 and #2 cylinder. This is the most accurate way for producing the best whp and tq curve by cam/crank centerline being dead on. This rules out any difference in deck height from both the block, head, and head gasket thickness no matter what! It eliminated me hours of cam degreeing and guess work. This fixture locks the cam in true centerline. Once locked in you loosen the cam gears adjustment screws and place dial indicator on fixture. Sweep in true TDC zero off of piston top and "bingo" its done and dead on. Lock the cam adjusting screws down and tq to spec.

Since the cams are locked into centerline via DCR Billet Cam Fixture the crank is "swept" in with dial indicator on piston for true TDC while the cam gears float(adjustment bolts loosened for slots) on the stationary camshafts.

The last picture is the original design and all others are the CNC ones we will be selling.
