Anyone know if the DC Strut tower brace will fit over the Vortech S/C system? Kris...?

I asked the same question and was told it will. IF for some reason it does NOT you could always sell it and buy the Razors Edge front one and the rear 2 point one. They will both fit for sure.

It looks like you'll need the Razor's Edge one.

I'll just hae to get a hammer and "make" it fit! Lol! Hard to tell, but it looks in pictures I've seen that the cooler sticks up a little higher than the manifold, and if that's the case it probably won't fit without some type of spacer. If it isn't that bad, I might try some type of spacer under the Brace.

Then the hood will hit the brace.

Dave, for once, I was thinking the same thing. Those DC braces barely clear as it is.

Drew... like Rick said... Razor's edge... or scrap the STB, sell it, and get a new paint job.

Yep saw it first hand today, won't fit with these systems. I'm not even sure the RE one will, but hopefully!

Not to get off track here but ... do you really need that aftercooler?? I know they're making it as part of the kit but is it really needed?? Our motors can't handle that much boost stock right, what are these kits set up for, 5-6 psi?? That's not very much boost and not alot of heat, is an aftercooler really necessary?? It's also ugly as hell, really kills the look of the engine bay. IDK, I have a Paxton s/c on my mustang and run around 10 psi of boost and I don't have/need any kind of cooler. I understand the physics behind a cooler air intake temp but unless you're getting REALLY hot air from tons of boost I don't really see the need. Besides, nitrous is a better "cooler" anyway, hahahhahaha!

Possibly don't need it, but after a while if I want to add a smaller pully to up the boost, the cooler air will help. Plus, I don't want to have any issues with the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty that EVEN COVERS THE ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN BABY! That is a great deal.

Awesome deal bro!!!!! And way to plan ahead, take it from someone that's been down the superchager road before (I was gonna say "blower" but that might get a little confusing with you EQ guys, lol!) ... PLAN AHEAD CAUSE YOU WILL DO MORE!!! That's a promise. Enough is never enough, especially when all you have to do is swap out one little teeny tiny pulley ... way to plan ahead Drew!!

I like the blower, it looks nice like all Vortech or Paxton blowers do but that aftercooler just ... well, to be nice it just doesn't look that good, imo. I've seen them for years on Mustangs and such but have never liked them, I see the need for one especially with the higher boosts that other applications see but they never can seem to find a good place to put it, let alone make it look good. Imagine that Vortech kit with a straight chrome tube from the blower to the throttle body ... much nicer. Again, just my opinion guys, I still would kill to have one ... nope, promised myself (and the wife) not this time. I tell ya tho, there's something so addicting bout a blower ... the power, the sound ... oh man I'm getting wet just thinking about it, hahahaha!
