basically...what im talking about is taking the OEM gauges...and making them "more green" with like a green LED set or something like that....

I have no idea what im taklin about here...so just looking for some ideas....

Ya Steve, you can take the cluster apart and install some green film. Long ago in a far away thread, there was a write up on it. I never did mine, but always intended too. McMaster Carr sells plastic shim material that happens to be different color depending on thickness, that's what was used.

Let me see if I can find you anything. BRB.

Oop's, not mcmaster but Grainger. Part number 3L881. The green is .003 thick and is very transparent.

So does that go over/under the dash overlay?

Ideally what I would like to do...is to take one of the red fox racing ones...put it on, with the green "enhanced" if you will so that its a closer match to my auto meter gauges, but the actual face of the gauges in the car (during the day) are white.

Here's one way, but not what I was talking about. Still looking

Ya, the way I'm talking about is to take apart the cluster and lay in over the areas you want.

Ok, can't find it. Sorry man, but it was not hard at all to do. If you read that link, you'll see how to take everything apart and you'll figure it out.

You're talking about changing the color, not the intensity, right?
In order to match your pillar gauges?

Well the gauges are green, so i would be able to live with not an exact match.

I would be happy if I could just make the OEM gauge color a little more "greener" i guess lol

Yes sir, can do...not PBP brand like your link, but same shit different brand. Check out Maudlin & Sons, or Horizon Shims...those are what we sell here. My cost is your cost, just cover freight also...And I would try an overlay on the BACK of the cluster.

if i put a sheet of the green type of this BEHIND the face of my gauges...the color would be more GREEN than LIGHT GREEN

Steve, you'll just have to give it a shot man. Buy a few sheets of it, hell it's not expensive and see how it looks. And yes, behind the face.

Here's a couple shitty phone pic's. It's a lot more transparent then it looks here. It's also a bad ass shade of green, like Talon's accent color.
