Well, I am on my way to drop off my girl at her house. I am taking coors down near cottonwood mall towards Paseo. I see a silver NSRT4, lowered and was somewhat loud, looked like an aftermarket exhaust. I proceeded to my destination, and drove to just calmly pass the neon, when all of a sudden I hear a nasty, SNAP CRACKLE POP, and then deaccelerate, from the neon. I was like, um okay, that was way cool. The light ahead turns red at Irving and we both are side by side. My window was cracked and the kid in the neon yells at me. "Got anything done to your car yet?" "No, Its A Stock Wagon, What you got?" "Remember, I raced you on Montgomery?" (Montgomery is our fast and furious street in ABQ, NM) I Shake my head and think, I didnt race any damn neon on Monty, must have me confused for another csrt4. At this Point, the light turns green, and he revs and dumps the clutch before I even snap the light turned. I then launch at 3k, and my CSRT4 takes off perfectly, little spin in 1st gear and none in 2nd. I put about a car on him real fast, and am still putting distance on him as I gain speed. I shift in to 3rd, and get it up to about 80 and shut down. It looked like I had about a 3 car lead on him. He then got in the turning lane and turned off quickly, and he didnt want to talk at the next light at the paseo intersection. I proceeded down coors and had no other trouble with any silver neons. All in all, happy with the win, and I was surprised I beat him that good, since it sounded like he was lightly modded, and i had an extra passenger. The CSRT4 was in a bitchy mood tonite with other neon owners, apparently. Gabriel
