    Here is some info..
    http://www.nctimes.com/articles/2008/04/01/news/inland/escondido/69c931c01e1a9d258825741d005dd3a1.txt

    Strange.. I qoute..
"One of the new features this year is a special area just west of Escondido Boulevard reserved for cars newer than 1974."

    The later it says....

"Dusharme said the shows will remain focused on pre-1974 American cars despite the new special attractions area, which will include newer cars and foreign cars.

That area has only 28 to 30 parking spaces, she said, compared with nearly 400 for the classic American cars."

I guess they must have come up with more room.
Maybe they change the type of cars every cruis' night....better yet....this friday is LX night!

    HERE IS A GREAT MAP!

Since MotherMopar (Jason) has given NO response...and the fact that I've spoken on the phone with him at least 4 times this week and there's been NO mention of the event....and the fact that I KNOW Jason fairly well....I'd say he's NOT coming!!! LOL

LIAR! You had to pay $5 for the SRT/C sticker. At your current mod list $5 is like $500. Deep down where Rick has only been you know the roof looks badass, so does your chrome MOPAR license plate frame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:zorro:

Actually MR. LITTLE MODS is wrong. I painted the rear taillights (all three), the rearwing emblem, all the chrome molding around the windows, the roof and the front grill, so they would all match. HE (momo) doesn't know what mods cost:dumb:

Yes it is. The event happens every Friday from April thru October. There is a different theme every week. The theme refers to the main staging area, last Friday was Mopar Night. The Friday before that was; Low Rider Night, Chev Impala's, ETC. The area we were in is available to clubs to reserve regardless of the theme for the week. I have no intentions of doing this every Friday, but maybe again in a couple of months.
I talked to the Director of the event regarding your same pre 1974 concern. I was told, some area's inside the main area are, privately owned and can not be controled by the City. Also, some cars park on Grand Ave before the main event starts, if cars are there, the City of Escondido does not like to enforce the tow away rule has it would give them bad PR. If they see someone try and park on Grand after 4:00pm, security will chase you away. I know this to be true, I saw security make several cars move from our reserved area on Friday night.
