This is our big chamber test head which as you can see from the photos we cut up to check on wall thickness in critical areas so there won't be any potiental cracking problems as the heads get some milage. If this isn't checked or in the case of a hand ported head where there all a little different, there is always a chance of porting the head too thin and having a problem down the road. The ports are the same for our standard chamber head but I showed the big chamber head which is designed as a retrofit head for 03-08 5.7 hemis. The big chamber heads on a 03-08 5.7 hemi engin will yeild approximately a 10-3/4 compression ratio which will allow a pretty healthy cam to be used without reducing cylinder pressure to a detrimental level. The inertia 09 Hemi heads feature a directional vein as can be seen in the photos and a 6 angle valve job on the intake and a propriatory full radius valve job on the exhaust. Although, we don't put alot of stock in flow numbers they also flowed better than the ported 6.1 heads, particularly in the mid lift region where the piston speed will be the highest. In short we expect big things from these heads and we have the stock chamber heads ready to ship and can ship the big chamber heads within a week of ordering.
