Got ya. Yea, the claying is the fastest part or the process. The clay removes the wax so it's a must after claying. I went out and purchased a bunch of new polish and wax and an orbital polisher after seeing the difference the clay made. Perhaps this weekend I'm give the car the whole treatment and post up pics of the dead arms, and shiny car.

Hurry, and get one of those foam nozzles. Looks sort of like a fire hose nozzle. You add car wash soap and it puts out this incredibly thick dense foam that looks like hazmat stuff at the airport. You also need a CR spotless water filter. Then you don't even have to dry it. That should hold off the mods for just a little longer.

I did a clay bar treatment on the 300 a couple weekends ago, it definitely worked but took me close to three hours. Got all the nooks and crannies though, after a coat of wax the car definitely looked better than it ever has in my two years of ownership!

Clove - Excellent article about claying vehicles.

How much time does it take for you to Detail your vehicle from top to bottom including interior?

Just to defend my boat waxing of multiple days (only a 24 ft boat) There may have been some adult beverages consumed in between waxings
-It required rubbing compound and then three coats of wax and polishes- BTW I was doing that by hand which is how I like to do all my vehicles. In the end had (I was just tooo tired)to pull out the orbital buffer.

I have four cars to maintain in the household and if I waxed with this clay stuff I wouldn't have any time to work my real job!

I can't remember my point for writing this. I am from the craft club. Can't remember a friggin thing.

Oh too much time to detail. Life is too short. Still going to use ten foot rule.
