We had a good day today. The rain held off for the most part and the sun even came out a time or two. But Kevan, Brian and my self all came out with our trucks.

sorry for the long post but enjoy!

The day started out good with Kevan telling me that i was number 1:grin:

All 3 of us qualified for Norwalk which is the world finals. you have to score a 109 or higher out of 135 and I got a 111.5 Kevan got a 112 and Brian got a 113! we are going to get our asses handed to us there but we are all excited to go to Norwalk in a few months!

Here we are lined up for judging on Saturday:

The 'vanilla' Big Horn was NOT entered, but decided to park in the judged area anyway. A sign of how truly important it is to learn how to read.
Apparently he got a hold of the Badges Catalog from the dealership and ordered 12 of each. Too bad he couldn't center the one on his bug deflector.
    *sigh*

I got a shot of Markus' tents:

There was a "Winners Parade" on Sunday for all the judged vehicles. Unfortunately, it was down the return lane at the track so....no burnouts from me. :shok:

Here's Keith being congratulated by the judging coordinator and the head of Chrysler Classics:

Here's Brian (aka "Cop Lights") taking his stroll:

Bri's truck is a garage queen, so for him to get 1st is understandable. The surprising part is that the 2nd Place (me) and 3rd Place (Keith) trucks are both daily drivers!!!

What we were trying to figure out is how the guy with the GTX got Best In Show with a 90's-era stereo SILICONED into his dash.
Nope. I'm not kidding. 4 screws and black RTV around the outside edge.
I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Contrary to what the Weather Channel said, it was a nice weekend. Kinda windy and a touch of rain, but nothing major. Those who didn't come because of the weather forecast really missed out.

Lots of rare and badass vehicles there, and everyone I spoke with was very nice. I spent about 30 minutes with a couple of guys asking me questions about the truck.
The event folks took A LOT of pics of the trucks, so expect to see them on their website and publications.

It was a great weekend for Mopar fans.
