When you have your climate control in FLOOR ONLY air distribution, does your A/C compressor cycle on without the snowflake A/C light on. Mine does, I have no control over the A/C when in floor mode, or any other defrost mode for that matter. I asked Ron and his does this too, what does yours do and what year is your SRT8, R/T etc?
Actually, in all honesty - I have never used my climate control other than when using the A/C and the whole system on auto. If I am wanting air on the floor or some where specific; then I just control the fan and air flow manually. The next time I am in the car.....I will check this out and I'll let ya know what happens.
My '06 MSRT does it too, Tony... I've always hated thinking that I'm being sapped of power but then apparently our compressors are disabled when at WOT. Hope it's true!
