Just witnessed it with my own eyes at Irwindale 1/8th mile track last night

It ran consistent 6.7's!!! That converts to 10.4's!!!

Way out of my league! My best has been 7.35's which equates to 11.5's

Talked to the owner...says he fabricates and tunes his ride and personally knows Mr. Bell who is located in Cali.....

Cam can vouch for this car he's seen it......he theorizes the intercooler system and a couple other things must me EXTREMELY efficient to not grenade the motor...it had an ice bow reservoir like mustang usually run

09 Challenger stock 6.1L ....5 speed auto..... Kenne Bell 2.8L .....15 pounds of boost...owner claims 40+ drag runs and 200 dyno pulls....

    Thoughts?

    Heard about this car.

15psi on stock internals. Yea, it is only a matter of time (runs down the 1320) before that motor lets go.

Way cool. Maybe they forged the 6.1 and aren't telling.

Talked to Cam. He's been hanging with the KB Challenger guy. Was even with him at Famosa last night. Says it's the real deal, stock motor. Huge intercooler and a great tune.

My brain still has a hard time accepting this. lol

So far out of the norm.

So we went up to Famoso last night, nice little 400 mile road trip . The joint was packed, the track prep wasn't all that great, and there was a bit of a cross wind at times.

I can't tell you how impressed I am with the KB unit and Adams tuning ability. The car ran flawless except for when we dropped in a Mopar TCM and proceeded to waste a run with limp mode. BTW, the Mopar TCM does work for this 09 chally .

He got in 4 runs and with the exception of me Fn him up with the TCM, all three were 10's. So he pulled two 10.7's and best mph was 128 on a 1.6 60.

All that on completely stock ride with the KB, a BAP, injectors, and a Builder Bill valve body and some fuel.

    Now that's impressive!!.

Oh ya, one more thing I have to add as this one little observation completely blows my mind. This blower is so good, so smooth, so efficient and SO well made. He's pulling 15 pounds of boost on a 6 rib belt, laying down 700RWHP on a

    gawd damn stock tensioner!!.

Ya, you read that right, no aux pullies, no guitar strings, bone stock everything and room to work. Absolutely no drama.

I hate to say it guys. But you other twins screw guys have a whole new level to step up too.

There is so much more going on then just the tune Nathan. This is a combination that could be a fluke at this power level. But I will wholeheartly tell ya that a majority of the saving grace here is the effeciency of the KB unit.

BTW, he knows it'll blow, KB knows it'll blow. But just how far can you go with it is what Adam is working on right now.

Also, Adams timing couldn't be more perfect for me. I've had this theory that I've been wanting to try some modifications to a stock 6.1 and I'll be damned if what's happening with the chally doesn't comfirm my thoughts. So stay tuned, this may open up a little room for the stockers wanting to run mild boost not having to go to a forged motor or be dedicated to running meth.
