426, p&p'd heads, stock cam, stock headers, new air to air intercooler, 300 tread wear BFG tires. KB had DR's for 1/4 mile, Challenger did not. Challenger 6 lbs boost, KB 15 lbs boost.
Challenger also had Magnaflow high flow cats and cat-back, Eibach suspension.

That engine did not come out of Samuel's car. He sold his Charger quite some time ago.
It's funny how video editing works. They failed to show the mustang puke all of the coolant out of it twice, and get so hot that the pcm shut the motor down. Also didnt mention that the mustang is on drag radials all day (not just the drag race portion).
As far as the pricetag, the whole car was built in 6 days. 6 20 hour days. Thats a new engine, a paxton s/c, a new front mount intercooler (and all the piping to go with it), 15" brembos, a new diff (with OSGiken lsd), Eibach coilovers, eibach springs, and hotchkiss swaybars.
The car literally got off the dyno at 3am, we loaded it on the trailer and drove to willow springs. It had never been driven prior to Samuel and I going for a hot lap to make sure that the brakes worked when we got there. Obviously, there are some suspension issues to be resolved (ths was the first set of eibach coilovers, they work great on the street, WAY too softly damped and sprung for the track.) I was the one driving the car for the drag race. Had to launch the car in 2nd gear, 1st gear is good for nothing but big giant smoky burnouts. Obviously could have used a little more/better tire.
We also were expecting a STREET car shootout. Street tires, pump gas, etc. Now we know. We will see what happens next time...

Thanks for clearing that up Brad. My apologies. For some reason I thought you had said (in a different thread weeks ago) that the motor came out of Sam's personal Charger. I did go back and check that thread and no where did you make that statement.

However, the Drag Race portion was not all that impressive. IMO. AS stated, I will beat the Shelby GT500 by a 1/2 to full car length with my set up. And no, I do not have a stroker motor. ;) The motor that was running in the Drift Charger last year is the same as what I am running in my Charger on 12psi. Of course hot lapping before the race and the Stang having DR's to the Chally's Street Radials, I guess that could be a valid excuse. hehe

Yeah, I agree. But remember the part where i said i was driving? I am a road race/circle track/drifting guy. Never a drag racer.
That car does not like to keep the tires planted. I was launching in 2nd gear and peddling like crazy to keep from going up in smoke.
It is really scary to drive on the streets, it will literally burn the tires off of it if you stand on the throttle at 80mph. Its very fast, and very fun!

haha come on man, it's point and shoot. lol

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I can and have blown the tires up in smoke at 90mph... ;)

And I need/want MORE power. hehe

I hope you pull a GT500 by more than a car length Ron. The are only 500HP flywheel, the GT500K is 540HP, this KB is 725HP.

You know I'm a Mustang expert now.

Nuformz needs a converter, headers, and a real 1/4 mile track and me behind the wheel for my driving skills and my weight to hold it to the track. LOL

From what I understood in the video. It wasn't the GT500 or GT500KR. It was the Supersnake. Or am I just losing it ?? I know that there is a considerable difference in power between the three. GT500 = 500 hp, GT500KR = 540/550 ?? Give or take a few ponies, and the Supersnake comes in two power packages, one is in the 600 hp range and then there is the one that was being tested which is 725 hp.

So, with that being said. Just out of curiosity, which one do you beat Ron ??

I haven't gone against the Super Snake, but there is a guy up here that has more horsies than the Super Snake and we are about even.

Hey Ron, I was at Hennessey's shop not long ago. They had 17 Challengers in the shop drinking with Hennessey, lol. Almost all of them were Hemi Orange and getting major motor work. I also saw Mario Williams (Houston Texans player) twin-turbo Ford GT in the shop, man that is a killer fast car.
