Thinking of doing a new look on my forged wheels on my Charger. The wheels have a chrome lip that I would like to paint. And the body shop I spoke with says it's very difficult to get paint to adhere to chrome, due to all the plating processes, the paint will eventually flake off. Do I have any other options, other than sending back to the vendor to have them disassemble the wheels, powdercoat, blah, blah, blah? Any help is appreciated. :)

Definitely want it professionally done! Just trying to avoid the cost and down time of having them disassembled and shipped off. If that's my only option, then I'll do it. Just trying to come up with another option. But thanks for making me eat my words Curtis!! ;)

Do NOT half ass it Chase.

The rims are what 2 or 3 piece? Disassemble those rims and have the rings sent out for powdercoating. BWoody can take care of that for you.
