Sorry.... Someone had to do it....
believe it or not, that depends on your state. in virginia, you are allowed to open carry without any permits so long as you legally own your gun. you actually can legally open carry into more places then you can carry concealed.
Nope...we're on the same page my friend. :thumb3: It's tough to believe in and state these things without sounding racist or discriminatory to some people. What I'm waiting for is a complete ban on saying "Merry Christmas". The trend here, at least in the public service, is to say Happy Holidays now. Oh well. I do say Happy/Merry (insert whatever your religion's holiday is here) if I know that coworker or friend is celebrating it...sometimes I think I'd like to get the same courtesy is all and not worry about someone trying to be PC.
Canada is "Officially" bilngual. That is, every province has to consider English and French as equally important. Funny that Quebec doesn't think so. Quebec has long played it's own version of the Race card and has tried twice to secede from Canada and has failed. I have a couple friends living in Montreal who are English but know French and they say they would NEVER live anywhere else in Quebec as some of the people are downright hostile French-speaking separatists. In Montreal, there is a large quotient of English Canadians so it's relatively another largely mixed metropolitan city in Canada. Yes, 2 Official languages. One is straight and one is gay lol...jk jk.
What is the crime rate in Viriginia?
Well, that blows this one out of the water lmao! Nice find Jake. But, for me, I think it did sound like Andy Rooney haha! Then again, I never listen to him very closely...seems that he was just one of those grumpy old guys....but I do like some of the things he says even if his channelling of Archie Bunker was fabricated.
not sure. im sure the closer you get to DC, the worse it gets.
No prob, you want non-pc here ya go ... MERRY F*CKING CHRISTMAS YOU CANADIAN BUTTMONKEY!! Hahhahaaa
Makes sense, closer to our country's capital you get the more crime you get.
HAHA. Dude, Christmas was like 2 months ago...whatta ya been living under a rock? Oh wait, you have been:
Scotty back in the day...
DAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAAAHAAHAAHAHAAHAAH!!!!!!!!!!! :sly:
OH SHIAT!!! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHHAHAHHAAAA!!!!!!!
I asked because it just seems that where you can leagally carry weapons, the crime rates are lower than were you can not.... Not that there is a huge difference, but it just seems that if you know someone has a gun (or whatever) on them, you would be less likely to to start shit with them!!! :sly:
hey nobodies talkin $hit about me, i feel left out here! milan, i find it hard to believe that FRENCHIE canadians are hostile if theyre anything like real french people they should back down the minute you put a couple germans in their land hahaha!
your right about that. i think its called the citizens defense league. they have m&g's just like we do, except they open carry to places like restoraunts and such. so you have about 40 or 50 people, some of which are wearing .44magnums and desert eagles on their hip just hangin out. i dunno about you but that would make me think twice about bein a tough guy in that area.
*** Note to self.... Check into becoming a member of the Citizens Defense League! ***:angel:
I am sorry to say this...but they are in a passive-aggressive way. They just won't communicate with you or will try to lead you astray. For eg. Hey man, do you know where the subway is...(snidely point in a general direction...could have been up or down lol). Um, sop you're saying it's over there? East? (Nods head and says East in French)....you and your buddies in the freezing cold....crap, I think that focker lied to us!! DAHAHA
LOL! Although I do agree with 99% of what was said... it sounded too much like those "other" emails I get from time to time.
I'm not going to go into the whole "illegal immigrant" thing much... the term isn't even correct, IMO. There are people in this country that broke the law, and aren't suppose to be here. Plain and simple... These people are NOT immigrants, they are REFUGEES. The term "Immigrant" is an honorable term. It tells me the person went through many things to get here (LEGALLY) and is willing to assimilate into our society. I have the utmost respect for Immigrants... they are what makes our country so great. :good:
Minorities have a lot of opportunities these days.... I think the major issue holding these groups back is in-fighting amongst themselves. Until Blacks, Latinos, Asians, etc.-Americans can get themselves together, they will never be able to have success as a group. I think it is high time they stop blaming WHITES for their short-comings and start pulling themselves up by their own collective boot-straps. The tools are there already, and if they work it correctly, they actually have a HUGE advantage over White citizens.
The idea just leads me to think of how stupid it is for cops (bobbys) in England to not carry a firearm at all...or those Guardian Angel guys to get the job done right!
The Bobby's (street cops) don't carry guns... But the tactical forces in England do! And they are widely considered to be the best SWAT teams in the world. ..... So when the shit hits the fan in England, they have guns on target.... LOTS of guns. LOL!
well, considering I am 1/4 French, 1/4 German, 1/4 Chech, and 100% Italian.. lol
Most French are the Rudest Assholes (arrogant to more coorect) I have had the displeasure of meeting.
Germans are a 50/50 split (at least in the large cities). In the farmlands of germany, the people are down to earth and very friendly.
Checks, hell, they are happy to be free. And yes, I was in Progue before and after the wall fell.
Italians, lol We are what we are. haha
As for learning the language in the country you are living, learn it, it is NOT that difficult.
I spent 4 1/2 years in germany and I speak fluent German. I went through the Army Headstart (Mandatory) program to first learn the basics of the language. I then met my first wife (throws up in mouth) and learned my German watching the Gummie Bears with her little brother. lol Granted I did start to use a book and tape language program, but it was ALL wrong, so the family learned English and tought me what I didn't know. Took me about a year to fully communicate in German.
I spent a year in South Korea as well. I also learned their language. granted I learned just enough to get by. What I learned was I gained MORE respect from the locals by at LEAST attempting to speak their language than trying to get them to speak English.
Give and Take.
DITTO!!! Where is this at? :yahoo:
