I spoke to Jim Moore yesterday, the Production Manager at Techco, he assured me that Billy Tally has not been let go and is still constructing my motor as well as Eric's. He also said that Techco is not shutting down, they did have to relocate due to a problem with their current building. Yes it is true Carlos is not employed with Techco at the moment. I should have more info today regarding when Cam should have those motors.
Welp,As much as i hate to say it but I call bullshit..There is something more going on here then relocating.Other wise they wouldnt have treated Chuck the way they did or anyone else for that matter..You would think they would have done a little better damage control before and during thier so called move. On a side note I do hope Im wrong..

Lets Step Back!!!! . Well Eric because I consider you a friend I will not bash you too much BUT....you have no one but yourself to blame. You had a Jeep that ran in the low 12's N/A with just head and cam!!! 1. Lets be perfectly clear. You took your Jeep to DynoSteve to have it tuned. :whistle: You went to lunch and when you came back it had three blown pistons! He stated to you that your plugs were bad. At that point you should have been pissed off and told your story. 2. After that you approached me about building the first 426 Vortech. You had Lonnie pull your engine and trans and I had the engine going along with a race style manifold and wet flow heads. Then two days later YOU changed your mind and told us YOU were going with Techco. YOU pulled the project from Lonnie! That was real disappointing to both he and I. I was selling you a built Arrington426 at COST for god sake. JeepTrick is pretty happy with it now!! 3. Lets talk about your Mondello heads. Who FCKED them up...YOU! They were FCKED up and basically junk after YOUR Dyno Steve debacle. Mondello fixed them at YOUR instructions. It may have taken 2-3 weeks but that is his lead time. Dude it takes just a week alone in shipping one way from Calif to Tennessee!!! They are busy with ProStock and customers as well...... and to reweld and reform a chamber by HAND is not overnight work!!!! I told you to deal with them directly and YOU did. You wanted them "wetflowed" and I stated "no way" because I am NOT giving my competitor something I paid to have developed, just so it can be copied. Your heads came back evidently the way you and Mondello worked it out. Then You wanted me to sell you a set of stock cores and I waffled. I didnt because they are like gold to get a hold of, and I was done giving stuff away. You were dealing with Techco .......so let them come up with a fix. Lets keep something very clear...When I sell the heads I do it as an enthusiast NOT A FULL TIME JOB! I own a construction company and dont need to sell friggin heads!! I am a vendor here to help Mondello after the GSM debacle. Bottom line Eric......YOU should have stayed on your original course. You would have had a built Arrington 426 with a Vortech for less than 10grand INSTALLED!!! . You could have thrown as much boost at it as desired. Instead YOU didnt listen to me. Just like Medic/Paul was going to dump his Vortech for a Techco....WTF for???!?!...WHY???!?!?! Everyone out here is chasing him......why should he chase anyone until it is time? Techco has not proved anything. I am not impressed, havent seen them at the track!?! Have you??? Geeez...Trojan even took his off and switched to KenneBell. Adam has him running in the LOW 10's!!! Paul and Keoni have some proven Vortech pieces on STOCK block 6.1's..... you would have had the same, only running a built 426.... well into the 10's!! Steve, just to clear things up. You are absolutely correct, all those where my discussions. But then again, it is also my money. As far as giving things for free? Really Bud??? I have paid you cash for everything I have purchased from you up front. I don't appreciate you saying things like that. As far as the heads, I am in no way bashing mondello or you, but I simple stated my situation. You said it I spoke with them directly and the minute you thought I had the wrong heads, who was involved. It was a scene, and I won't even quote the words that came out of your mouth on that one. I paid to get the heads fully repaired, I even asked if I needed to buy new heads. That is where it ends, now as far as my business with about your engine is totally different. I was gonna get it at decent price, but a completely brand new engine on the website was only about 300 bucks more. Your engine was sprayed and damaged, yea the were gonna replace some parts, but not the whole engine. I am not here to argue and to this point I been completely straight forward, I have no need to lie about something or try to put down a company. I am thankful for the companies out there that care and keep pushing product. I tried to go a different route and we will see what happens. As far as me and Lonnie, we talk on a weekly basis and he got paid, and no hard feelings between us.
Lets keep it civil guys and not go back in forth over something that never did come about. Regardless of what anyone thinks Eric should of done he did what he wanted to by his own decision and does not need to be told he was wrong for doing so and does not excuse how he was treated by Techco. We are not here to belittle anyone or make them feel stupid this thread was started mostly to vent and to ask for help and it looks like some things are progessing to the better so lets leave it at that and see how this plays out. Steve I truly believe you only wish the best for us and hate to see what is happening and I know you comments were more tough love than anything else I know Paul thinks the world of you and has said recently you stopped him from making a poor decision and we all appreciate what you do. I'm sure sooner than later Eric will be on here boasting about his jeep just like Jdoc is about his whippled 426 jeep, he too went through alot with Modern Muscle but now that it is all said and done he couldn't be happier.
