If it's any consolation, I still think Southern California is a good place to visit...just not live. LoL!
I am just here cuz that's where I was birthed and never left. Hubby wanted to move north (WA State) 35 yrs ago, but I was to young to listen Now here we are stuck in SoKal :ronlove: :ronlove: :ronlove:
That's the exact reason my wife and I left when the opportunity presented itself. We didn't want to be those people who felt like we got ourselves stuck where we didn't want to be.
I wouldn't mind being "stuck" in socal....the only problem I'd have is finding a way to get my car registered in that ridiconkulous state with the lovely wonderful CARB laws. From what I could tell on the website, even if the Vortech T-trim I have is on the list, I am putting out roughly 15psi, which is way more than they would allow cause we all know that no fun is allowed in CA.
Grass is always greener....however, i do know that it doesn't snow there, and that's really all that I need to hear....
Why do they call is sunny SoCal then? Maybe they should call it snowy SoCal. I haven't seen a "real" snow in years, we had a slight dusting last week!!
I am fine wherever I never see snow haha I have fulfilled my quota for dealing with snow lol Did they shut down the world like they do in the "southern states" when a flake of snow comes out of the sky? hahahaha
I love this commercial...because it soooooooooooo true!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFLrN1-GZOg People round here don't seem to realize the rest of the country can still function with a lot more snow than we ever see. LoL!
I went to work in a storm that dropped 39" in one day (AWWW YEAH RAM 4x4).....when I see places close for like 3" I am just sitting here in disbelief hahahaha
Where is everyone from my region? Come on peeps, post up - we wanna know who you are :flowers: :flowers: :flowers:
Last time we got snow here, all of Atlanta closed down for like three days. It was great! I got a free three day vacation, the kids got to have snowball fights, and go taboganning down the driveway...all because of like an 1.5" of snow. It was a magical winter wonderland. I wish it would snow like that more often. :bigwink:
Hahahaha, you do mean 1.5' not 1.5" I hope -   If not, sounds like home ........ a powdering of snow and you would think the world ended
