WOW! Yea that would make me kick the salesman in the nuts while yelling way to try and rip people off!
lol Yea, me too. Theeeeeeeeen, I call Cam to laugh about that post and of course I am rambling on, Cam is rather quiet. lol His wife was standing in ear distance. dahahahahahahahahahahaha
yea...all the dealers around here are doing a minimum 3k mark up on them. plus they're not giving people crap for trade ins (they were offering something like 7k for his nsrt). it's horrible. he's probably going to end up getting it eventually, he likes the csrt, we just need to find a reasonable price.
If he wants to take a drive, my buddy sold us ours. It would just be retail price, but there wouldnt be a mark up. Also we traded in an 05 white acr with 20k miles and got 15k for the trade in
Hmm right now around me here in New England, (Connecticut, Massachusettes, Rhode Island area) all the dealers are willing to sell for invoice as the market for new cars is really slow right now. I have 5 dealers emailing me every day. Jeff
thanks i'll let him know. you're in ohio or florida? i always forget. the market is horrible but around here that doesn't matter for srt vehicles. they always sell, and they're always marked up. gcsrt's are going for 10k over retail, and dealers can't give away suv's lol
I have sat in the CSRT4 and the NSRT4 and IMHO the Caliber is much more suited for a big guy like you Jeff.
I'm about 6'0" and I have zero issues getting in and out of the CSRT, actually I find it quite pleasurable compared to my old NSRT. I found the NSRT to be quite difficult to get in and out off as my knee's are about shot, the CSRT is about perfect as I don't have to squat to get in and out of the vehicle. Got mine at sticker here in Fort Wayne, Indiana also. I got $14.7K for my 23K mile Orange Blast in trade-in for the CSRT.
I'm 6'4" and love the NSRT. I looked at the Caliber last weekend, sorry, just can't match the look of the neon. Have a dealer here selling them for around $24k with massive hail damage. Looks like a damn golf ball.
That is one of my holdbacks as I myself think the Neon even though a age old body style looks better than the Caliber./ J
To each their own. I've owned both and I'm partial to the CSRT over the NSRT as far as looks go. Then again I've added my own touches to the vehicle and it is far from stock looking. Yeah it's nice to not have to use a freaking ladder to get pull yourself out of a vehicle. It'll be funny when this mini-van blows your doors off as well:getlost:
yes it will. give it time, just like the neon. we weren't doing 9's in the neon in the first year either.
