Hey guys I'm in and area I know vertually nothing about. For the next year I have some traveling to do about 6-7 hundred miles a week, so with that being said which vehicle should I get, a used but good Neon SRT4 or a brand new Caliber SRT4??

    The Caliber FTW Jeff.

The Caliber is a much more comfortable ride than the Neon, hands down.

Really? That was never an option?

BTW thanks all for the input, I like performance and since mileage now becomes a factor fuel economy does help.

I'm never giving up the Jeep, this will be a 5th vehicle.

The Caliper beats the Neon in all catagories. Hell, it even has cup chillers and an ice box.

New versus old is always a plus. But knowing how traveling long distance can take a toll on the back, the Caliper is really the better choice for your needs. It has the looks, feel, and design of the 8's, just in smaller form.

And if you find yourself in New Mexico during your travels, you BETTER let us know. hehe

caliber srt4.. although, with driving a car that much, why not get a caliber R/T or something. probably be more comfortable, better gas mileage, and you wouldn't be putting a million miles on an SRT4 every year.

but if you gotta have SRT4, get a caliber. i probably will pick one up in a couple years and sell my NSRT4 to my woman.

that's a really tough call, and it's all personal choice really. of course you're posting this in the neon section so more people are going to say neon, including me, and you'll have tons of different reasons for it. my main reason is that the new caliber looks like some kind of abortion lol. sorry, i just can't stand the thing. it's nice inside though, i've sat in it, but i wouldn't call it miles above the neon. some pretty neat little features on it. performance wise in stock form the neon will take it, but the csrt seems to respond very well to modification, which may or may not matter to you.

remember either way though, that you are looking into a srt vehicle, so you're not going to get great gas mileage no matter which one you choose. if you're doing that may miles i would seriously suggest a yaris or something.

Guys! He's wants performance. He doesn't want to gouge his eyes out from complete boredom driving a TDI or a Caliber R/T. Besides, he's keeping it in the family lol..so Caliber SRT4...hatchback and looks like an aggressive pocket rocket.

    I have owned 3 SRT-4's and still own my 2003 637hp SRT-4...

the Neon is a thrill and very powerful... with that said, get the Caliber..

It may not have the power potential.... yet, and I stress, 'yet', as the neon does, but
I find our 2008 CSRT to be a better car, and I love my neon.

Both have there advantages and disadvantages...the neon would be cheaper, but from everything I've read, the caliber would be more comfortable.

So, do you want cheap or comfort?
