Nice kill Jason. I don't see many AMG's around my way and never had a chance to race one. Hopefully when I get my heads,cam,intake and LT's on I can find some faster cars to play with...I'm getting tired of running Evo's, STI's,Mustangs and LS1 camaros!!!
I didn't have time to post a lengthy tale last night, so here's the scoop: Go up to Mobil to get a can of chew. Pull in and there's a black Mercedes parked next to me... I actually didn't take notice of it (to the point of seeing what model/year, etc). Two late 20/early 30 year olds in it, one guy's in Mobil. I go in, come out, start her up... he pulls out before me and I end up behind him as we're exiting the lot onto the street. I glance up as he's pulling out and notice "AMG" and on the left of the trunk "C_ _". I thought to myself "nice car" and just proceeded home. Next thing I know he must have slowed down and was right next to me (the car was about the same size as mine). Then he's blipping the throttle. I was in flip-flops and in no way in the mindset of 'going'. But, like any good Mopar owner, I said 'screw it'. I bump her down into 3rd, just so he knows I'm game. I hear him start to get into it, I go down to 2nd, WOT, and I'm ahead... one car, two cars... I shut down. Next light, he's making a left... I look over and they both are giving thumbs up, so I return the gesture. *DISCLAIMER (for Chris): This story in no way, shape or form eludes to whether or not my car is/is not faster than the other. For all I know, his car is 5 times faster. Story for entertainment purposes only.
:hmm: the C series is way smaller than a charger....mom has one and its parked right next to my car....but its probably hard to tell while moving.... you just like picking on everyone dont ya momo!!!! hahahaha

wish you new what year it was. a c55 is quick but nothing next to the c63. we've had 3 so far and they are some of my favorite benzes so far. my dad is a amg fan and get a different one ever 2-6/mos. hes had pretty much all of them from the sl55,63,s55,cl63,c55,63,clk55,cls55,63 and the c63 is by far my fav. nice kill either way though, especially if its a 63.
I just came back from the track and saw a stock '06 or newer M5 (with the 507HP V10) run a best of 13.2@112. I think the driver (in the case of the AMG also) had something to do with this.

We went from a 20-30 mph roll... then again, if that car wasn't a basic auto, he may have not down shifted... although, I didn't hear the typical 'standard' gear shifts...
Your supercharged srt8 will kill a c63. I've raced a c63 recently and had it by a car. Your beast is putting down a lot more power than me so your race outcome is legitament.
Lol, THIS is what drives me crazy bout Mercs (and most cars these days), too many numbers and letters. What happened to cars having names like MAGNUM or Charger or Challenger, woot!!!
omfg, dude, how in the world could you like the c63 more than the sl63, cl63 or cls63? both have loads more power and look twice as good. i can understand the clk, thats a homo car.
