    Yes, I read your write-up on lxforums. Thanks. :)

    I just don't like the idea of shifting the motor laterally, I'm going to try lifting it and see what happens.

    you are only going to be able to raise it a couple of inches before the trans hits the tunnel......and you will still be right in line with the wire harness.......ask me how I know.You may not like the idea of shifting the motor laterally but it's the best way.......and it slides very easily.

    meh, I took the pcm out of the sleeve and this allowed me to pull the harness up almost 2 inches. Just enough to get the cover in and not lose the gasket. Oh, and my blower runners were still in place.

    Took me about an hour and a half per side. And yes, I did this before Jonn came over. :)

    Erik is correct though, very easy to shift the motor to the left.
