Today I was checking everything out and I found a loose nut on the O2 housing that collects to the exhaust. I gave it a small tighten and it broke. How do I remove the stud, it is obviously pressed into the housing. I noticed the stud has a head, but I don't want to even try to loosen it and break the head. Any suggestions are welcome, and if you live in New Mexico(that way there aren't any long distance fees to you) and don't mind giving me a call with suggestions, my number is 505-328-0921. Thanks for your time, Zack. (P.S., Is it time to upgrade to a 3inch O2 housing, that is if I have to remove the factory housing to get stud out.)
Hope this helps. So what broke? Looks to me the 02 housing has 3 set studs in there.. Those 3 studs are in there for good, they don't need a nut to hold em on..
I got the stud out with a quick hit of the air chiesel. Thanks for the help. By the way it was the stud on the lower portion of the O2 housing in which connects to the down pipe.
