    hey all,

my charger has been making a very loud squealing noise lately. I have already changed the brake pads and was still getting the squealing noise, i then took it to the dealer and they said my rotors was "glazed". So i paid $300 to have them fix it and I still have the squealing noise. Any idea how to fix this problem?

    Thx

    1) Try rebedding the pads.

    2) One of the rotors is warped. Should replace the fronts if this is the case. The rears shouldn't be the culprit, but is possible.

Had this very same problem with my 06 Mag SRT and finally the dealer put on 2010 version slotted Brembo rotors and again new pads; so much better now and no squeal.... and after all the arguing ~ NO CHARGE! My SRT just turned 11,000 miles.

If you don't have slotted rotors, start there. If you do, go bed the brake pads. Here's how: http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm

If you're still squealing, pull the brake pads and smear the back with anti-seize then re-install.
