Yesterday I ran a new best time in the Chally R/T as we were testing the new Diablo tunes for the new 5.7 engine. I was in the 2nd round of the Mopar Challenge series, and could tell I had a great run going and was going to break out ... but I didn't care. :D

I have to say ... these tunes are fantastic and combined with a couple basic mods, make for one fast car!! Thanks to Diablo for making our Challenger R/T the first one ever tuned, and letting us test everything out!

    1/4 ET: 12.873
    1/4 MPH: 107.84
Mods: MBRP cat-back exhaust, Techco CAI, MM 85mm throttle body, Diablo test tune
    Tires: stock, with stock psi

It was fairly warm out all day and we got 11 runs in the car to test out the tunes thoroughly. The shift points are nice, the power is very noticeable in feeling and in the 1/4 time as you can see. My previous best with all these mods, before the tune, was 13.177, with the corrected time being the same. Adding the tune dropped the time to 12.873 and the corrected time is 12.765, so there is nearly 3 tenths gained with the tune!

We have all these parts for sale and will have a nice package for you as well, so you can bolt on these items and benefit from all our testing!

Here is the time slip and my # is 0514 in the right lane:

Up next ... ZEX nitrous and drag radials! We'll continue to test only 1 new item at a time so we can measure the performance gains, though. :)

Another large site keeps track of 1/4 mile records and we have one from this run! It's actually the first reported record run for all Challengers. Here's the little "football" they made me to show off our record:
