Just inherited a 2007 Caliber SRT4 with a blown engine, mechanic suggested a replacement over rebuild. The question is are all 2.4 liters the same minus the turbo and if so could I purchase any 2.4 liter compatible with this car and use the original turbo? I have been unable to fine a 2.4liter turbo engine online. Any advice would be great!
