These are sneak peek videos. Scott from CMW asked me to host the Video's. Sorry for the low res quality. lol It is the SOUND that is important. haha This beast is ALIVE. wow
Will I have to do any hood modification to install that. And, will it fit a strut tower brace. I'd like to road race with that engine!
BUHAHAHAHA!!. I gotta share one little tid bit about this motor. This otta give you a real good idea of just how detailed Bob is. When I was down there, Bob had Ron (the owner of this motor) weighing the fly wheel bolts and matching them perfectly before installation. I'm sure Bob and Ron wondered why I cracked up when Bob laid him out for this one detail. But I was laughing cause that's exactly what I would have done also. elvicsmilieys: Every ounce of this build is detailed to the T. I can't wait to see what she lays down.
Yup. And I can vouch for that. My motor is motor #1 from nearly two years ago when we were all learning about the new Hemi. haha 24K miles later she purs like a kitten.
I would like to thank 1bad4dr for posting this sneak peak videos. The res. is not so good, but the final video will be bitchin with all the video equipment that has to be done for the up and coming shows. I wanted to show this is a real deal. From here we will be different mappings using the AEM electronics. After will be testing with FAST electronics. We have alot to do, so be patient as we go through these testing procedures. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Scott
We are adding more sensors to the our DTS engine dyno along with some more sensors with the motor. We should have all the sensors and up-dates next week. If all the new sensors are here, we will be able to start dynoing this beast. As it sits we are breaking in the engine. If you noticed we are using 8 nozzles we also have to test the 16 nozzle system. So far everybody involved are extremely happy with the initial results. Once these testing procedures are done and the results are in, we will be able to give all customers and other engines builders a kit and or complete engine that truly is realiable and runs right out of the box. If you have questions please ask Scott
OK I want one!!! Ron can I borrow some money???? LOL I am sure that I will not be able to afford one but one can dream...
I think your question is "Do you have a version of that blower suitable for the street?". Note there is no air cleaner there. If you're on a dirt road and see someone coming the other way you have to pull over and shut the motor off. If you run through a swarm of june bugs you have to tear the motor down. In order to run it on a road course you would need a throttle limiter (probably 50%) to keep it on the road without giant slicks on the back (slicks don't work so well in the corners). For whoever asked about hood mods. NO modifications to your hood are required. You can leave your hood completely stock. Just remove it and leave it in the garage. (haha, those are my guesses... I would so love to have something like that :worthy.
