    BS!

I have to say that I admire everything BJB and Steve have done but some credibility is tarnished when its a "stock" 6.1 and as the "onion gets peeled back" its a modified 6.1 with a handgrenade lower end.

If you read the posts at the Jeep Cherokee forum some of the claims are now becoming questionable.......

Post #60 makes statements that are obviously meant to "goosebump" the crowd.

Post #77 eludes to a factual 10. second run when in ACTUALITY there is nothing to back it up. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Ooohhh yea a camera timer..lol!!

Post #89 again leads the reader to believe the author, is taking credit for, and has actually run some factual time, which he doesnt want to "correct" because he doesnt believe in it. The other issue is traction.....hell you can see and hear Paul and I (on film) spinning just as much in 65 deg weather in a "WELL PREPARED" track environment in +1500da not -1500da.

Post #127 state that the author was told the 60' lights were not working. Was it because there were "NO ACTUAL LIGHTS"!! Or was the the camera timer....again? Just a small factual detail left out of the story.

Post#137 the author makes a STATEMENT "your on the ball mate, it was 1.5". Come on!!!! There were "NO ACTUAL LIGHTS"!!! How can that statement be made??

Bottom line........this type of undocumented hype is what sours the enthusiast experience. At least Hennessy did it at an all up track.......maybe not NHRA sanctioned but it was as close as it gets. To start this thread based on PURE CONJECTURE on events that happened at a CLOSED track is wrong and misleading. To promote a product based on undocumented events, with claims that did not happen or can not be backed up...... is chicanery at its best!! Plain and simple it is wrong!!!
