SO the Dodge Demon is gonna be made did you know that? Sure is, only mother Dodge decided that its would be in the best interest of the company to make it FailWD. This car was gonna compete with the Miatas and solstice at the track. could have dominated. Not to mention its sick nice.

I do not like roadsters in the first place. To follow the path of everyone else has never really worked out with DCX. This one will tank IMO.

 

Well - since they're going with the Chery platform, it better be for sale for $7,995. It won't be worth any more than that. Expect an anemic power plant or it;'ll just twist the body anyway.

This is destined to be a young lady's car/metropolitan commuter vehicle.

 

the RWD platform would have been killer on the track

They really shouldn't call it the Demon, they allowed some mags to review the concept car and built up a lot of good press about it, the backlash if they use this nameplate is going to be quite bad. If they want to build a small FWD coupe/roadster then fine, but don't get people to associate it with the concept car or it will have bad repercussions.

We all know Chrysler/Dodge is going under. Doesn't surprise me one bit.
