Ok, so i was asked to throw up a couple pictures of my other toys. The first is a 2003 kenworth with a signaure 600 cummins(no longer available) as of late 03.18 speed, 355 rears on 22.5 low profile with a 290" wheelbase.I had the dash painted purple, pioneer dvd in dash, lowrider seats(yep, they sit on the floor when air is out) way to much custom stuff inside to list as well outside. The front end is airbagged and i can drop the bumper on the ground! You see big trucks can be low ridn' and bling blingn' to! For the horsepower guys, 740hp to ground and 2400 tq.This is what was on ecm when downloaded after i won the truck pulls! Sshh, i may have the australlian fuel/air parameters in The second here is my 1984 kenworth cabover . It's gonna be my "HOT ROD" once done building it.This one only has a "baby" 350 cummins (all mechanical) 9 speed and 373 rears on a 244" wheelbase. These trucks are no longer made since 92 i think. As you can tell i like old school hot rod trucks.I am not into aerodynamics and fuel mileage. This bad boy here will smoke out a city block! I mean by exhaust not tires! Here is a few more of the interior of the 2003 i did and a some from a truck show sitting in the grass. Hope you like! Not all truck driver's are fat ass slobs! Some are clean freaks and do it because of a love for the trucks........LIKE ME!
Thanks guys. They are alot of fun and expensive toys.Would be nice to do a picture of the charger between the 2 trucks.I have no really good shots of the chargerl Once i finish with the trucks i will be going in deep with the charger.TROJAN, BE WARNED! just kidding! His car would be hard to beat ! Thank you SRT-4aunt.Not a bad collection for 33.I had my mind set young that i wanted cool rides.Had to sacrafice though. No marriage and no kids! And i love it that way!
Adam, I love the 03. The interior and exterior (from what I can see) has loads of TLC. I am with you, I am old school and love the Cab Overs. I look forward in the progress of the Hot Rod. Thanks for sharing.
I wish i would have known the last 2 pictures would have come out that small. Its to bad because you cant tell how low the truck is.From stock i lowered it 7" and 2" on rear.On the front instead of having 4 leafs in the spring with a arch to them, i only have 2 leafs that i had de-arched and moved the shakles forward 1" and put 8000 lb airbags on each side to raise it up so i could drive it. The bags raise the truck, not lower it.This is the lowest kenworth i know of.Ground to bottom of frame.A few friends of mine tried but at the time of the "who could be lower" phase i was only running one leaf! Until i got caught! The inspector had a shit on me.He was right in saying that is a good way to kill yourself and someone else because if that one leaf snapped, well.........I think we all know what would happen then.So i put at least 2 back on!I will tell you though, IT RIDES LIKE SHIT! You get a better ride on a wooden toboggan on concrete steps then this thing rides! LOL HEY KEVAN, WOW ! You know your trucks! That is awesome! That caught me off guard totally. I have all 48 episodes on dvd buddy! Shit, i just cant believe you said k100, not k100 e but k100.How do you know that model? and aerodyne also? I am shocked right now.Thats wicked if there is a fellow truck liker here as well!
Boy, this is the place for me then! I know a fair amount with the trucks but in all honesty, not much with these car but i am learning! I will try to hold back on asking stupid questions.I just invited a friend with a SRT over to this forum to. You guys are cool!
My little brother and I watched that show RELIGIOUSLY. Of course, I didn't get the "Stacks" inuendo until a couple of years after the show had ended. I remember some NBC behind-the-scenes thing with Greg Evigan (maybe it was 'My Two Dads'?), where he said "K100"....and it just stuck in my head. I knew the Aerodyne models from a trip we took to a KW dealership with my mom. Told ya we were hardcore fans of the show! LOL One of the first 'big boy' models I built as a kid was a Peterbilt (don't remember the exact model). Took me FOREVER, because I have brutal OCD and wanted it just like the box cover.
Thats awesome kevan! I met greg at louisville at the mid america truckshow 3 years ago.He still kind of looked the same! If you want bj and the bear, movin on or any other old truckin movies go to trucker flicks.net.They are all there.By the way ...........CB HUSTLERS, is one you dont want kids around!
Thanks tenor1joe! If i sold one, dude i could build a hell of a car!!!Was never an option until i seen all these bad ass srt's. I had no idea you could do all this stuff and or buy all this stuff for the cars/motors! It was almost a bad idea buying a SRT ! lol
